““Working with Dave LaGrande was a fantastic experience! He is kind, enthusiastic, creative and had an excellent timeline for our process! I have been teaching dance for years, but never had the opportunity to collaborate with a musician or have original compositions created for a concept. Witnessing the process behind creation in a different artistic field was a joy. I was amazed at how Dave took a few sentences and ideas about our theme and made them into exciting tracks. He put together 4 or 5 pieces for our show. Each one had a thread that blended well together, yet also had distinctive sounds and instruments to make each special and unique. Choreographing Dave’s compositions was so much fun! He created pieces with intricate layers and dynamic arcs that allowed for a depth of ideas to create the visual aspects. I primarily work with local youth and it made their experience really special to know that music was made for them and no one else had ever danced to it before!””
